Lord God Almighty

 

Scripture Revelation 15:3-4 “Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints! Who shall not fear You, O Lord, and glorify Your name? For You alone are holy. For all nations shall come and worship before You for Your judgments have been manifested.”

Revelation 17:14 These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful.

Observation Great, marvelous, just, true, holy is the Lord God Almighty, King of the saints.

Application I will worship, I would praise, I would glorify and honor Your holy name . . . Lord of lords and King of kings, You alone are worthy.

Prayer Lord God Almighty, my King, my Savior, my friend, I would forever worship Your holy Name.

My Creator and my Helper

 

 Scripture Psalms 124:8 Our help is in the name of the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.

Psalm 121:2 My help comes from the Lord,  the Maker of heaven and earth.

Observation The same God Who spoke all things into existence is my Helper, friend, Lord, creator, Father.

Application I would draw each day from Your infinite power source.

Prayer Thank You Father for being my constant consistent infinite source of help and strength.

Delivering Hands

 

Scripture-Psalms 18:16 He sent from above, He took me; He drew me out of many waters.

Observation God delivered me out of the water when I could not deliver myself.

Application God used the hands of my friends to deliver me out of the water.

Prayer Thank You, Father, for pulling me out of the water, by the hands of my friends.

Jesus my Friend and Brother

 I have a Friend Who is closer than a brother. Thank You Jesus!-Proverbs 18:24

No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.-John 15:15

I AM A FRIEND OF GOD

 

Scripture So the Lord spoke to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend.-Exodus 33:11a

The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.- Exodus 34:6

Observation The LORD, my God, is compassionate, gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness.

Application I too would be a man of compassion, grace, patience, love, and faithfulness.

Prayer Thank You, Father, for Your friendship, compassion, grace, patience, love and faithfulness.

Week Three Status 2011

Father, help me to continue to make my relationship with You my top priority. Thank You that as I grow closer to You, I also grow closer to the people You have placed in my life.

Status Week Thirty-Two 2010

Father, You are my everything! You are my stronghold, my help, my strength, and my friend. Everything that I need, Lord, You are!

Father, may Your matchless grace be evident in my life.

Lord, let me be a shining light
