ADVENT-The Coming Messiah.-This same Jesus, who came in a cradle, conquered the cross, is coming again in the clouds!

Status Week Fifty-One 2010

ADVENT-The Coming Messiah-So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed for her to be delivered.And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.-Luke 2:6-7

ADVENT-The Coming Messiah-Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people.For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.” Luke 2:10-12


ADVENT-The Coming Messiah-So all this was done that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the Lord through the prophet, saying:"Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel," which is translated, "God with us." Matthew 1:22-23


ADVENT-The Coming Messiah-Every good GIFT and every perfect GIFT is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights...the GIFT of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Thanks be to God for His indescribable GIFT! James 1:17, Romans 6:23, 2 Corinthians 9:15

ADVENT-The Coming Messiah-Then the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name JESUS.He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest...He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end.” Luke 1:30-33

ADVENT-The Coming Messiah-And the angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God....For with God nothing will be impossible."-Luke 1:35,37

ADVENT-The Coming Messiah-But while he thought about these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take to you Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit.And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins." Matthew 1:20-21

ADVENT-The Coming Messiah-Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David,to be registered with Mary, his espoused wife,who was great with Child.-Luke 2:4-5

Status Week Forty-Nine 2010

ADVENT-The Coming Messiah-But you, Bethlehem...though you are little, out of you shall come to Me the One to be Ruler.Whose goings forth...are from everlasting.Micah 5:2

ADVENT-The Coming Messiah- "Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel." Isaiah 7:14

ADVENT-The Coming Messiah-For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6

ADVENT-The Coming Messiah-The people who walked in darkness have seen a Great Light;Those who dwelt in the land of the shadow of death, Upon them a Light has shined. Isaiah 9:2

Status Week Forty-Forty Eight 2010

When I think that the God of the universe knows my name, loves me, and calls me His own, I am overwhelmed.

The Name of JESUS stands alone in its prominence and position because He is The One Who brought us grace and Truth. Praise His Name!!!!

Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face;
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
In the light of His glory and grace.

God often sends His help by way of human hands.

Birthday breakfast, dinner, cake, balloons, cards, presents...great visits with family and friends and bunches of birthday wishes from my facebook peeps...was a GREAT Day! Loved, thankful and blessed! Everyone have a GREAT Day/week!

My Hope is in the BLOOD of the precious Lamb of God.There is no other fountain so sweet. It washed away my sins. Gave me Peace and Joy within. My Hope is in the BLOOD.

Heavenly Father, I am humbled at the thought/reality of Your constant, abiding presence. I am thankful that You will never leave me or forsake me.

People who find their complete security in the unchanging and Holy character of God will find True safety.
Oh, that men would praise the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men. ~ Psalm 107:8

Always pursue what is good both for yourself and for all.

Father, thank You for Your amazing, infinite grace! Let that grace reign in me and flow through me today

Lord, there is none like You, no one else can touch my heart like You do, I could search for all eternity long and find there is none like You.

Pray as if your life depended upon it. It does!

Thank You Father for dealing with me in Your love and compassion. Grant me the grace to do the same for others.

While we accept the Bible by faith, there’s plenty of evidence that it’s true. Let’s be diligent to study and share what we learn with others.

Father, it is my heart's desire to see with Your eyes.

Father, fill me with Your Holy Spirit that I may share Your love, mercy, and grace today.

God uses ordinary people to carry out His extraordinary plan.

The world hears enough bad news-today I've got some Good News!!! Jesus loves you and He demonstrated that love on the cross so that you could be forgiven, set free, and know the joy and peace of salvation!!!

Lord, I pray that I would not take my life for granted, but rather reflect on how precious it really is...use my life for Your glory, and may someone be blessed as they see You in me.

For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father." Romans 8:15

Relationships and spiritual contentment bring glory to God and fulfillment to people more than an abundance of possessions,

Our loyalty to Jesus should be seen and heard in our lives.

Oh, that men would give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men! "Thank You, Father!"

Help me to see others with Your eyes and serve them as You would.
